The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on two ports in western Yemen controlled by the 'Youth Movement' on the 16th.
According to Al-Masirah TV, controlled by the 'Youth Movement', the targets of the Israeli airstrikes were Hodeidah Port and Saleef Port in Hodeidah Province.
A senior security officer of the 'Youth Movement' told the media that when Israel conducted airstrikes on the two ports, the organization was preparing to import fuel.
He stated that many cities in Yemen are currently facing fuel shortages.
On the 16th, the Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement stating that the military struck the infrastructure of Hodeidah Port and Saleef Port controlled by the 'Youth Movement'.
The statement said that these ports were used by the 'Youth Movement' to transfer weapons, once again demonstrating the organization's use of civilian infrastructure to 'engage in terrorist activities'.
Furthermore, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, citing Israeli military sources, reported that 15 fighter jets dropped a total of 35 bombs on the targets. The attack will prevent vessels longer than 80 meters from docking at the ports, severely limiting the 'Youth Movement's ability to resupply materials.
