The MAC emphasized that the mainland has no right to impose any "regulation" or "jurisdiction" over Taiwan's waters. "Taiwan's own affairs are none of the CCP's business. We urge the Beijing authorities to exercise self-restraint, abide by international norms, focus on managing their own potential disaster, and refrain from meddling."
