South Korea's star-making factory "SM Entertainment" celebrated its 30th anniversary recently with a family concert held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. The event mobilized a large number of its artists and even invited former company artists to reunite. Unfortunately, for the top group “EXO,” only two members took the stage, performing their hit song "First Snow" as a duo for the first time. Former member Zhang Yixing (Lay) was spotted sitting in the audience watching.
EXO debuted in 2012 with a 12-member lineup. However, with Kris Wu, Luhan, and Z.Tao leaving the group one after another, and Zhang Yixing focusing his career in China, the group now has only 8 members remaining. Among the members, Baekhyun, XIUMIN, and CHEN have re-signed with "INB100," and have faced contract disputes with their former company in 2024. D.O has established his own company. Meanwhile, KAI and Sehun are unable to participate in this concert due to their military service obligations. As a result, for the SM 30th family concert, only leader SUHO and member Chanyeol took the stage.
It’s worth noting that although only two members performed on stage, fans noticed Zhang Yixing energetically cheering for his teammates from the audience. After the event, he shared a clip on Instagram of SUHO practicing dance backstage, commenting "So serious, leader." He also posted a group photo with SUHO and Chanyeol, expressing "See you next time," and shouted EXO's slogan "We are one!"
