In conjunction with the upcoming National Day month, Resorts World Genting will present a special concert, “National Voices · National Day · Merdeka,” at the Arena of Stars on August 29 at 6pm, featuring five Malaysian singers who will use music to express the patriotic sentiments and unity spirit of Malaysians.
These five singers are Malaysia's R&B representative Z-Chen (Zhang Zhi Cheng), talented singer-songwriter Abin (Fang Jiong Bin), multi-talented artist Danny One (Wen Liming), new-generation singer Amsyar Leee, and independent musician Boon Yaw. Spanning different music generations and styles, the five together represent a cross-section of the diversity within the Malaysian music scene.
Z-Chen has secured a unique place in the Chinese pop music scene with classics like "May I Love You," "3AM," and "Secret Love"; Abin has moved listeners deeply with heartfelt works such as "Bad Guy" and "Regret," showcasing his strong musical talent. Danny One blends pop with hip-hop elements and continually pushes local music boundaries. Amsyar Leee is emerging as a rising star with his versatile vocal style and impressive online presence, while Boon Yaw brings original music and production prowess to inject indie energy into the stage.
