JJ Lin Diagnosed with Heart Disease, On-Stage Painful Episode Revealed

Golden Melody Award winner JJ Lin’s “JJ20 FINAL LAP” world tour kicked off a marathon of 9 concerts over 3 consecutive weeks at the Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) in China. The tour held its grand finale on the 13th, a night that was supposed to be filled with joy and bittersweet farewells. However, JJ Lin suddenly shocked over 100,000 fans at the scene by announcing his diagnosis of heart disease, frankly saying: “The hourglass of life is speeding up. How much longer can I keep singing?” He even suddenly experienced such intense pain while singing on stage that he couldn’t stand up straight, displaying a pained expression. JJ Lin revealed that in April 2024, heart problems were detected and he has had to rely on medication daily to maintain his health, sighing at the impermanence of life: “This news truly stunned me. Will Rest after Tour Finale

The news immediately shocked netizens. After being diagnosed, JJ Lin still completed the grueling worldwide tour of 103 concerts. According to his management company, JJ Lin has always undergone regular medical checkups, and after the tour ends, they will arrange for more rest, allowing him to recuperate after wrapping up his current work.

In fact, that day while performing “Exchanging the Rest of Our Lives”, JJ Lin was seen turning his back to the audience and enduring discomfort, suspected to be caused either by a stomach cramp or heart pain. After making adjustments, he finished his performance, and he has recently been wearing a health monitoring wristband on his right hand, presumed to track his heart rate. Out of concern, JJ’s mother also accompanied him throughout the entire second week of the Beijing tour.
