Zixing Pavilion Crane Qigong Winter Solstice and Christmas Gathering — Practitioners Gather to Welcome the New Year

(Miri, 24th) The Miri De Jiao Association Zixing Pavilion’s affiliated Zhonghua Hexiangzhuang Qigong successfully held the “Winter Solstice and Christmas Celebration Gala” last night (December 23) at 7pm in the grand hall of Zixing Pavilion. A total of 35 teachers and practitioners attended enthusiastically, and the scene was warm and lively, filled with a strong festive joy.

Station Master Yang Zhenping said in his speech that he was very pleased to see practitioners eagerly participating, gathering together, and caring for one another. The atmosphere was as warm and harmonious as a family. He lamented how time flies, with only 9 days left in 2025, and 2026 is about to arrive. Since its establishment, Zhonghua Hexiangzhuang Qigong has entered its 11th year and plans to hold the 11th anniversary celebration in 2026, which is very meaningful.

He emphasized the concept of “health first,” urging practitioners to arrange time reasonably and persist in practicing qigong to strengthen the body and improve physical and mental health. At the same time, he also hopes to open a new class in January next year and encourages teachers and practitioners to actively introduce friends and relatives to join, so that more people can benefit from Zhonghua Hexiangzhuang Qigong.

The evening program was rich and colorful, with practitioners taking turns to present solo and group singing performances. Their melodious voices and tacit cooperation won rounds of applause from the audience. During the event, several teachers and practitioners also went on stage to share their qigong practice experiences and insights, exchanging the gains and understandings from their cultivation process, which greatly benefited those present.

The event also prepared a sumptuous buffet with a variety of delicious dishes. Attendees enjoyed the food while chatting about their recent circumstances, further strengthening their mutual friendships in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

In addition, Zhonghua Hexiangzhuang Qigong will hold a “New Year’s Day Collective Practice” event at Miri Artificial Lake Park at 6:30 a.m. on January 1st (Thursday) next year. This event has been held for ten consecutive years, welcoming the first sunlight of the New Year every year, symbolizing the opening of a new year with righteous thoughts and health. It has also become an important tradition of Zhonghua Hexiangzhuang Qigong. The organizers call on teachers and practitioners to actively participate.
