(Selangor, 11th) A pair of Chinese nationals allegedly jumped the queue while paying at a convenience store, sparking dissatisfaction from a local Chinese Malaysian man, leading to a verbal altercation. The local man's comment, "Chinese people do things…", angered the couple, resulting in a physical fight.
According to the reports, this incident occurred in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In a video circulating online, the young couple's Mandarin accent suggests they are from China. During the confrontation, the couple mixed Mandarin with a bit of English while arguing with the store staff and other customers.
The local Chinese Malaysian man demanded the Chinese couple queue up to pay, but both sides refused to back down. The Chinese man attempted to use his phone to take a picture of the local man, who resisted and said, "Why are you taking a picture? What right do you have to photograph me?"
The Chinese man retorted, "Don’t you want to fight?" The local man responded, "You want to fight, come on! Outside!"
Seconds later, when the local Chinese Malaysian man said, "Chinese people do things…", this remark instantly angered the Chinese couple, who approached the local man to argue.
The local man grabbed the Chinese man and they moved outside the convenience store, where they started fighting.
The security guard and bystanders were stunned by the scene, eventually separating the two.
