He refuted related claims and speculations made by certain media outlets.
He stated that Iran and the U.S. are exchanging information through Pakistan and are currently reviewing the exchanged texts.
Baghaei, in an earlier interview with the Iranian Students’ News Agency, said that Iran is reviewing the proposals and plans put forward by the United States and will summarize and relay Iran's position to Pakistan.
The Iranian Students’ News Agency reported that in order to cover up the failure of the U.S. “Freedom Plan,” American media have, over the past several hours, been releasing speculative reports and fake news in an attempt to distort the facts.
Citing “reliable sources,” the Iranian Students’ News Agency reported that certain parts of Axios’s reporting about the potential Iran-U.S. agreement are mere media speculation and public opinion hype.
