A Norwegian official said that the courtyard of the Norwegian ambassador's residence in Israel was attacked with a hand grenade on the 19th, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
In a statement sent to AFP, Norwegian Foreign Ministry Communications Director Bergsnis said, “This evening, there was an explosion outside the Norwegian ambassador's residence in Tel Aviv.”
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar wrote on social media platform X that he has been in contact with the Norwegian ambassador to Israel, Selvaag, and mentioned that a “shrapnel hand grenade” was thrown at Selvaag's residence.
Saar stated, “I strongly condemn this serious and dangerous crime.”
Bergsnis also said, “No embassy staff were physically injured in this incident,” and noted that Israeli police had arrived at the scene to handle the situation.
