(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th Jan) The Brunei Hokkien Association is scheduled to hold its '10th Council 2nd (2024) General Meeting' on January 12, 2025 (Sunday) at 10 a.m., at the Dato Lin Teck Hock Hall on the second floor of the association.
The association's chairman, Fang Yan he, stated that the general meeting is held annually to consider and accept the work report, previous year's financial statement, and to discuss and approve various proposals. Members are hereby urged through the press to attend and participate actively in the decision-making process.
The agenda for the general meeting on January 12, 2025, is as follows:
(1) Speech by Chairman Fang Yan he
(2) Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting (12/17/2023)
(3) Review of proposals from the previous meeting (12/17/2023)
(4) Presentation of the 2024 work report by Secretary-General Fang Dexiang
(5) Presentation of the 2024 financial report by Treasurer Zhang Chengji
(6) Appointment of the 2025 financial auditor
(7) Discussion of meeting proposals (if any)
(8) Lunch
(9) Adjournment
