(Miri, 28th) The Deputy Minister of Sarawak Tourism, Dato Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, revisited the Velosolutions Pump Track at the Artificial Lake Park today and praised the project's quick progress.
Dato Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew said the construction is nearing completion, and he is surprised by the speed and efficiency of the work. This is an exciting development, and we look forward to its official opening soon!
This project was built with a budget of 600,000 MYR from Dato Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew 's Rural Transformation Plan and is Malaysia's first international race-standard pump track.
Currently, there are 1,057 standard tracks worldwide. Once completed, this 251-meter-long track will become the 1,058th facility.
A team of four professional builders from abroad commenced work at the beginning of this month. Due to the wave-shaped design and construction of the pump track, it requires experienced and professional personnel to execute the project.
