(Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) Sin Kim Hua Group has been honored with the official 'Highest Blood Donation Record' award by the Brunei Book of Records, fully affirming its outstanding contribution in promoting social welfare.
This prestigious honor stemmed from a joint blood donation event held on November 8, 2025, collaboratively organized by the group’s subsidiaries—Trillion Company, Sin Kim Hua Trading Company, and Borneo Kopitiam Restaurant—along with the Blood Donation Centre of Bandar Seri Begawan Central Hospital.
During this one-day event, a total of 331 pints of blood were successfully collected, setting a new single-day record and breaking the previous record of 302 pints set in 2024, therefore receiving a certificate of honor from the Brunei Book of Records.
The award ceremony was held yesterday at the Blood Donation Centre of Bandar Seri Begawan Central Hospital.
The official representative of the Brunei Book of Records, Mohd Sukri, personally presented the honorary certificate to Sin Kim Hua Group Managing Director Lee Chia Qiang, Trillion Company Manager Siti Zubaidah, Borneo Kopitiam Restaurant’s representative Manager Lee Pei Ling, and Sin Kim Hua Group Human Resources Manager Rose.
Distinguished guests witnessing the ceremony included Blood Donation Centre Supervisor of Bandar Seri Begawan Central Hospital, Chang Chin Mei, and Sin Kim Hua Group Manager Tio Qiu Rong, among others.
Lee Chia Qiang stated that Trillion Company, a subsidiary of Sin Kim Hua Group, plans to organize another blood donation activity this November, hoping to set another new record and surpass the 331 pints achieved in a single day in 2025.
He pointed out that since 2022, Trillion Company has held the blood donation activity for four consecutive years, successfully organizing four events, fully demonstrating the company’s long-term commitment to social welfare and actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
