On the 26th, Egypt and Jordan expressed their refusal of any actions that infringe on the rights of the Palestinian people and opposed forcing them out of their homes.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement firmly opposing any actions that violate the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the expansion of settlements, annexation of land, and forcibly displacing Palestinians. Policies aiming to transfer or expel Palestinians from their land, whether temporary or permanent, will undermine regional stability and obstruct peace prospects. Egypt will continue to support the Palestinian people's steadfastness on their land and uphold their legitimate rights.
On the same day, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Safadi, at a joint press conference with the UN's Acting Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process and Senior Coordinator for Humanitarian and Reconstruction Efforts in Gaza, Wennesland, in Amman, Jordan, stated that it is Jordan’s firm position that Palestinians should remain on their land, a stance that has not changed and will not change in the future.
He said, "The two-state solution" is the path to achieving peace and opposes the displacement of Palestinians.
Safadi also emphasized the need to make every effort to consolidate the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure aid is delivered to all parts of Gaza.
