(Kuching, 15th) Nurul Aisah Keong, a 26-year-old Malay woman who went missing last Thursday, has been confirmed to have been dumped in the Moradamin area, and a 23-year-old Malay man involved has been arrested by the police to assist in the investigation.
It is reported that the deceased, Nurul Aisah Keong, disappeared after being taken away by a man she had just met last Thursday. Her family had made several attempts to contact her, but her phone was off, making it impossible to reach her.
Later, although they managed to contact the man once, they were subsequently blocked, including on his phone and all social media.
Sensing that something was wrong, the deceased's family went to the police station the next day to report the missing person and uploaded photos of the deceased and the man online to seek help from netizens, but to no avail.
Sensing that something was wrong, the deceased's family went to the police station the next day to report the missing person and uploaded photos of the deceased and the man online to seek help from netizens, but to no avail.
Later, on the 7th of this month, her family discovered through an IG story that the man had uploaded photos of registration to go to Cambodia, and they immediately sought police assistance to check the deceased's exit records with the immigration office but it was confirmed that she had not left Sarawak.
After several days, the detective team, based on the information I obtained, arrested the suspect who returned to the country yesterday afternoon. After some questioning, the murder case was finally revealed.
At around 9 PM last night, under the suspect's guidance, the police arrived at a junction near a traffic island in Moradamin and found the female deceased's body in a grass-covered ditch.
Currently, the police are temporarily handling this case as a sudden death case, as per procedure, they cannot yet confirm the deceased's identity, pending an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
However, according to preliminary police investigations, the scene was not the primary crime scene; there is a high possibility that the deceased was murdered and then dumped at that location.
