(Seria, 2nd) The Seria Hainan Association, in accordance with tradition, will celebrate the Thousandth Birthday of the Heavenly Queen Mother (Mazu) on May 9th (Saturday), the 23rd day of the third lunar month in the year of Bingwu (Horse).
The association will, as usual, prepare a ritual offering of lamb and, at 12 noon on that day, will hold a collective incense-offering and worship ceremony for the Heavenly Queen Mother’s birthday at the Han Qiong Yuan Garden on the top floor of the association building. Advisors, council members, members, and fellow villagers are welcome to donate offerings and attend to participate in the worship and share in the blessings.
At 7 p.m. that evening, a celebration gathering for the Heavenly Queen Mother’s birthday will also be held at the Han Qiong Yuan Garden on the top floor of the association building, to foster friendship and strengthen ties among fellow villagers. Advisors, council members, members, and fellow villagers are kindly invited to bring their families and enthusiastically participate.
The three donors of sacrificial lambs are Mr. Han Baoding and family, Mr. Wang Dencai and family, and Mr. Chen Liwei and family.
