(Miri, 22nd) The Sarawak Minister of Women, Children, Community Harmony and Welfare Development, Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, attended the Toddler Ramadan Camp held at Darul Ihsan Mosque today.
In her speech at the event, she stated that Ramadan is a time for charitable activities, so during this holy month, besides fasting, everyone should also strive to do good.
She mentioned that this is the first time the mosque has organized this event, and it is a commendable initiative from which participants are fortunate to benefit.
"Besides being a place of prayer, the mosque is also a center of knowledge, educating young Muslim children in various religious knowledge and information."
She also noted that it is beneficial for toddlers to understand the significance of fasting and breaking fast through such activities, and she hopes that such events can continue to be held.
It is reported that over 70 toddlers participated in the event.
