A Chinese male tourist in his 20s visiting Japan with his mother and others died after falling from a road near the 4th floor of Terminal 1 at Japan's Kansai Airport on the 25th.
According to Japan's TBS TV and Xiaoxiang Morning Post, at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report from a passerby that “someone was sitting on the roadside railing” at the connecting road of the 4th floor of Terminal 1 at Kansai Airport.
Police said that at the time, the deceased was sitting with both feet hanging in the air, facing the taxi stand and bus drop-off point in a dangerous manner. Upon seeing the police car arrive, the young man grabbed the side of the wall with both hands, suspending himself outside the wall. When officers tried to pull him back, he let go voluntarily, falling to the second floor and then bouncing down to the first floor, sustaining severe injuries. Paramedics arrived and found the victim unconscious, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
