Recently in Uzbekistan, a young woman named Nozza Usmanova was celebrating her birthday. Her friends happily organized a surprise celebration for her and prepared balloons, but unexpectedly, the next second the scene turned into a terrifying explosion.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Usmanova recently celebrated her birthday, and her friends had a surprise ready. Right outside a shop, Usmanova received birthday gifts from her friends, including a cake, and her friends also prepared a large bunch of hydrogen balloons to liven up the atmosphere. Another friend nearby was holding a lit candle.
However, it turned out that the candle may have accidentally come into contact with the hydrogen balloons, causing the balloons to instantly explode and turn into a fireball. Usmanova and her friends were immediately engulfed in flames. Fortunately, Usmanova later reported that everyone was safe and unharmed. She also said: “At that moment, I didn’t even know how I escaped, I just know everything happened so fast.”
The report pointed out that hydrogen is a highly flammable gas and is often used at parties, but if it comes into contact with sparks, flames, or candles, it can easily ignite, presenting a potential fire hazard. In 2018, a girl at a birthday party actually used hydrogen balloons, and one of the balloons was accidentally ignited, causing an explosion and leaving her with severe burns.
