(Seria, 27th) Led by the 12th president of the Chinese Literary Federation, Chen Lizhen, a group recently visited Kuala Belait and Seria to meet with local members, fellow writers, and former council members to strengthen connections and communication.
Those accompanying the visit included Lin Yuantai, Chen Dengzhong, Huang Linming, and Zhu Yunli.
The group met up with council member Luo Guohua at a Hainanese café in Kuala Belait District, who also assisted in reaching out to several fellow writers, including Lin Yuzhi, Li Shizhan, Yang Dequn, and Jiang Guoqing, and made a phone call to contact Song Baoxiang as well.
During the trip, the group met and interacted with some of the fellow writers. Notably, they reunited with Li Shizhan—pen name "A Wu"—and exchanged updates and views on literary creation; they also visited Lin Yuzhi, pen name "Ye Xing," to learn about her ongoing reading habits and interest in literary developments in recent years.
On the other hand, some writers such as Yang Dequn and Jiang Guoqing were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts. During the exchanges, those present also reminisced about past literary activities and the organization’s development, sharing their experiences and reflections.
The organizers expressed that this visit helps to strengthen bonds among fellow writers and enhance mutual connections, laying a foundation for future literary activities.
