(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) The Sultan Foundation (YSHHB) held an awards ceremony for YSHHB volunteers last night at Seri Qunna Mall.
This ceremony aimed to recognize YSHHB volunteers for their dedication, professionalism, and continuous contributions during 2024 to 2025. It is precisely because of their efforts that YSHHB's various projects and welfare activities have achieved complete success.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Nazmi, attended the ceremony as the guest of honor. He is also a member of the YSHHB Board of Directors and Chairman of the Aid Review Committee.
The Minister stated in his speech that this recognition ceremony was meant to celebrate the YSHHB volunteer members and strategic partners, who, through YSHHB welfare projects and charitable activities, have practiced the concept of "universal participation" and made positive contributions to helping Brunei's vulnerable groups.
The Minister believes that this volunteer service platform will provide space for people from all walks of life, whether groups or individuals, to join hands in contributing to the creation of an environment that fosters inclusive common well-being.
During the ceremony, a total of 160 active volunteer members received certificates of appreciation to honor their dedication and service contributions to various YSHHB initiatives, projects, and welfare activities during 2024 to 2025.
In addition, Volunteer Appreciation Awards were presented at the ceremony, including five recipients of the Active Volunteer (Male) Awards for 2024/2025, five recipients of the Active Volunteer (Female) Awards for 2024/2025, and ten recipients of the Long-term Service Volunteer Awards.
The YSHHB Volunteer Group was established on January 9, 2005, with the aim of providing a platform for all those interested in becoming YSHHB volunteers, enabling them to actively contribute and participate in charitable activities, especially in community service.
