TVB’s renowned supporting actor Tsui Wing has been actively running businesses in recent years. In a recent interview, he revealed that he once ran a tutorial centre but suffered a six-figure loss due to the pandemic, forcing him to close down. Making a comeback recently, he invested over a million Hong Kong dollars together with friends to open a hotpot restaurant. He works hard to earn money, all to support his two children in pursuing their dreams. He also revealed that he hands over all his earnings and savings to his wife to manage, for household expenses, operating the hotpot business, and other investments. As for himself, aside from car and parking expenses, he only spends 100 Hong Kong dollars (about 50 ringgit) a day, living an extremely frugal life.
In addition, he said his health has raised alarm bells and confirmed that he has fatty liver. A liver fibrosis scan (FibroScan) report showed that his fatty liver index is as high as 301, which is far above the standard. Fortunately, the level of fibrosis is not too severe and is still within an acceptable range, so it can be improved by changing lifestyle habits. He is now actively taking care of his health, trying to eat plainly, reducing oily and heavily flavored foods, and going to bed and waking up early.
