Piano Land Cruise Ship Arrives in Brunei, Passengers Experience Half-Day Tour

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Piano Land cruise ship docked at Brunei's Muara Port at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, the 1st of this month, carrying tourists from China and other countries to begin their tour activities.
Upon arrival, passengers disembarking were warmly welcomed by reception staff dressed in traditional Malay attire and accompanied by hand-drumming, creating a festive and ethnically rich atmosphere and showcasing Brunei’s hospitality.
Subsequently, the passengers embarked on a half-day sightseeing itinerary, visiting many of Brunei’s iconic landmarks and famous attractions to experience first-hand the unique natural beauty and profound cultural heritage of the “Abode of Peace.” With professional tour guides providing explanations and interactive exchanges, guests not only appreciated the blend of tradition and modernity in the city’s landscape, but also genuinely felt Brunei’s peaceful social atmosphere and sincere hospitality.

The reception was handled by Brunei Tianle Holidays Travel Agency, TravelHub Travel Agency, and Freme Travel Agency, with professional guides and translators providing full-service support to ensure the itinerary was smooth and well-organized.
During their stay, tourists visited several renowned attractions in small groups, including a view of the Istana Nurul Iman, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, The Mall shopping complex, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, as well as the Jerudong Royal Polo Club, Jerudong Crystal Park, and Sultan Golden Jubilee Recreational Park. They fully experienced Brunei’s diverse tourism resources and sampled local delicacies.

Although the stopover was brief, the schedule was well-organized and content-rich, covering culture, history, nature, and leisure—striving to showcase Brunei’s diversity and uniqueness in a short time, leaving a deep impression on visitors.
This short but meticulously planned visit not only further showcased Brunei’s friendly and open national image, but also laid a positive foundation for promoting regional tourism exchange and cooperation.
After the tour concluded, the Piano Land cruise ship set sail for Hong Kong.
According to statistics, the total number of tourists entering Brunei by air, land, and sea in 2025 has exceeded 700,000, an increase of 13% over the previous year, indicating the continued recovery and steady development of the tourism industry. Among them, the number of sea arrivals increased by 46% year-on-year, reflecting the gradually emerging potential of the cruise and maritime tourism market.
