(Miri, 4th) Miri Mayor Adam Yii, stated that the Miri community is home to many kind-hearted individuals and enthusiastic organizations that provide assistance to groups in need, working together to build a more harmonious and warm society in Miri.
"As Chinese New Year approaches, these kind-hearted people and organizations contribute to society by visiting Miri Old Folks' Home, Miri Methodist Children's Home, and other groups in need of care, showcasing how our people are creating a loving city of Miri with their kindness."
He expressed his strong support for these organizations and young people participating in public welfare activities, hoping that society will have more volunteers to provide aid to groups in need, and also supporting the contributions of the Miri Community Care Team to society.

Adam Yii stated that this gala dinner is the first public welfare activity by the Miri Community Care Team in 2025 and marks the beginning of uniting together to move towards a new year, spending a time filled with warmth and festive atmosphere with everyone.
