(Phnom Penh, 8th, Comprehensive Report) The Embassy of South Korea in Cambodia issued an official statement on its Facebook page yesterday, making a stern response regarding Cambodian media reports that claimed "Thailand plans to use AT-6 TH aircraft and missiles purchased from South Korea to assassinate Cambodian leaders," calling them false information.
The statement explicitly pointed out that the South Korean government has never sold AT-6 military aircraft or guided missiles to Thailand, and the related reports are seriously inconsistent with the facts.
Additionally, the South Korean government expressed its welcome for the recent unconditional and immediate ceasefire agreement reached between Thailand and Cambodia, and called on both sides to strictly fulfill the agreement, properly resolve disputes and conflicts through peaceful means, and safeguard regional stability and security.
