(Bandar Seri Begawan, 15th Jan) Lee Clinic & Dispensary held an opening ceremony today.
It is a renowned private medical clinic group with a 50-year operational history in Brunei, strategically opening a new multidisciplinary clinic in Gadong. This is its third branch, providing medical services to patients.
The new clinic is located at Unit G-5, Gadong Properties Centre Building. It is now open, currently offering primary healthcare services, including treatment of common diseases across all ages, medical check-ups and pre-employment screenings, vaccinations, injury and illness management, women's health issues, diagnostic procedures including ECG, spirometry, blood tests, drug screening, Pap smears, and more.
In the near future, there are plans to provide more specialized services, such as Internal Medicine—managing patients with multiple complex acute or chronic conditions affecting the brain/nerves, heart, lungs, kidneys/prostate, intestines, joints, diabetes, blood pressure, etc.; Occupational Medicine—managing work-related diseases and injuries; Dermatology—treating acute and chronic skin disorders; Diagnostic procedures including exercise ECG, Holter monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, sleep studies, hearing tests, and more.
The new branch will not only positively impact the community and patients due to its convenient location but also provide employment opportunities for locals.
Additionally, the existing 2 clinics offer services, with the Gadong Abdul Razak Complex branch specializing in obstetrics and gynecology services, and the Koon Joon Clinic Urairah Complex providing minor surgeries and wound care.
The three branch clinics work collaboratively, enabling Lee Clinic & Dispensary to adopt a community-based holistic approach, offering specialist medical services and primary healthcare under the same clinic group for the convenience of patients.
Dr. Wen Ruizhi, the owner of Lee Clinic & Dispensary, has 43 years of clinical experience, particularly in the field of Internal Medicine. He stated that the clinic is committed to innovation, actively developing new services and improving existing ones, providing extensive diagnostics, treatment, and prevention services for various diseases to meet the healthcare needs of society and different groups.
Dr. Wen became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1999 and 2000, respectively.
He stated that, as illustrated by the clinic's logo, the doctors and staff of Lee Clinic & Dispensary will do their utmost to serve everyone with sincerity.
