The short video "If War Breaks Out Today" released by China’s Rocket Force surged to the top of Weibo’s trending list on the 23rd. In the video, the Rocket Force showcases a large number of weapons, including land-based intercontinental missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads such as the Dongfeng-61 and Dongfeng-5C.

The Rocket Force released the video in the form of a military song, titled "If War Breaks Out Today, This is My Answer!", displaying the unit’s round-the-clock combat readiness.

This MV, approximately 40 seconds in length, features stirring vocals accompanied by footage of the PLA conducting exercises in forests and grasslands as well as launching missiles. The lyrics include lines such as: "If war breaks out today, every day I am fully armed, every moment I am ready to go, I pledge my life to my mission, if war breaks out, this is my answer."

After Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi delivered her “Taiwan contingency” statement in parliament on November 7, several PLA military accounts, including those of the Southern Theater Command, Central Theater Air Force, Eastern Theater Command, South Sea Fleet, and North Sea Fleet, successively released videos with clear implications, expressing their firm resolve to safeguard sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Meanwhile, the Dalian Maritime Safety Administration issued a navigation warning, announcing that from the 23rd for two consecutive weeks (from 4 p.m. on the 23rd to 4 p.m. on December 7th), the PLA will conduct military missions in certain areas of the Bohai Strait and the northern Yellow Sea, where entry is prohibited.

The announcement disclosed the boundaries of the live-fire exercise area using four coordinates. This area is located south of Dalian, Liaoning Province, at the junction of the Bohai and Yellow Seas, in coastal waters.

Previously, the Chinese military also conducted activities near the Yellow Sea. From the 17th to the 19th of this month, live-fire drills were held for three consecutive days in part of the central Yellow Sea; and from the 18th to the 25th, for eight consecutive days, live-fire drills were conducted in part of the southern Yellow Sea.
