A creative factory in Hunan, China, has incorporated 'ghost' elements into its security system, which recently proved highly effective: a male thief who had already pried open the factory gate was scared off by a shrill and mournful female ghost 'laughter.' However, in Guangzhou, individuals who played ghost stories for over ten hours a day to disturb their neighbors were ruled against in court.
According to reports from Chinese media and online sources, the factory, which was 'protected by ghosts' and fortunate to avoid losses, is located in Changsha, Hunan.
Factory CCTV footage shows that late at night on the 12th, a man wearing a headlamp successfully crawled into the factory through the iron gate. However, the factory was instantly filled with ghostly wails as a chilling female ghost's laughter echoed constantly. The thief looked around but saw no one, and ultimately, out of fear, exited the factory the way he came and fled.
The factory manager, Ms. Tan, stated that a monitoring device was installed at the factory gate. When it detects someone sneaking in, it triggers an alarm with a 'female ghost laugh.' In this incident, there was no loss of property.

In addition, Guangzhou residents Li Mou Ping and Lu Mou Hui, in retaliation against their neighbor Xie, with whom they had disputes, played 'wild mountain ghost sounds' through speakers against the partition wall daily from 8:45 a.m. to 12 noon and then from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on repeat.
Xie and other neighbors, unable to tolerate the disturbance, took the issue to court. The Haizhu District People's Court in Guangzhou ruled against Li and Lu. Although the ghost sounds did not violate volume or time regulations, the court found that the pair had intentionally created noise that seriously disrupted normal life and study. They were ordered to dismantle the sound equipment and delete the ghost sound files in the presence of court personnel.
