As he failed to pay the fine, he was given an additional one month in jail. His sentence will start on June 24, 2025.
Meanwhile, an Indonesian man named Man Aidi (43 years old) was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment and three strokes of caning for overstaying and using forged immigration documents. The sentence will take effect on June 30, 2025.
