PUSTAKA MIRI BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN FOR THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2025

(Our reporter, Miri, 24th) Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri will once again be organizing the Blood Donation Campaign for the third quarter on Saturday, 27 September 2025.

This program is organized in collaboration with the Miri Hospital Blood Bank and will be held at Level 1, Malaysian Red Crescent Training Institute, Miri Branch from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
According to Pustaka’s Corporate Management Officer, Shirley Szebah anak Mambai, this campaign  is one of the library’s efforts to support the community and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.

“As a library that functions as a center of knowledge and also a community hub, we believe in the importance of continuously contributing to society through meaningful activities such as this,” she explained.

This campaign also supports the aspirations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting healthy living, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through close collaboration with Miri Hospital and the Malaysian Red Crescent. As a token of appreciation, the first 50 donors who successfully donate blood will receive a
Popular Bookstore voucher worth RM30. In addition, a special refreshment will also be provided for all donors present.
