ASEAN-China Women's Wushu Championship: Brunei Wins Gold in Duel Event

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 26th) Malaysia successfully hosted the inaugural ASEAN Women's Wushu Championship, aiming to enhance the participation and influence of female athletes in sports.
Brunei sent a team of four female athletes, led by head coach Zhao Chunjie and assistant coach Hu Huishi. The athletes were Lin Yuxuan (competing in Taijiquan and Taijijian), and Lin Wanxin, Li Zhenqin, Li Zhense (competing in the group duel event). President of the Brunei Wushu Association, Lin Wenhua, attended the competition.
In the 'Women's Duel' event, the Brunei athletes performed excellently. Through precise movements, seamless coordination, and steady presence on the field, they ultimately clinched the gold medal in this event.
Cambodia took the silver medal, and Laos the bronze. This gold not only rewards the hard work of the athletes and coaches, but also shows the great progress made by Brunei's new generation of youth athletes.
Coach Zhao Chunjie said after the match: "We are extremely proud of our athletes' performances. This gold medal proves the effectiveness of our training methods and showcases the resilience and potential of Brunei's female athletes.
