Fan Meeting Draws Over a Thousand Fans: Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young 'Surrounded by Enthusiasm'

The lead actors of the popular Korean drama "Seocho-dong"—Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young—teamed up for their first visit to Malaysia, causing a frenzy among fans! The two took to the red carpet one after the other, sending the venue into an instant uproar, with deafening screams echoing throughout. Lee Jong Suk was both startled and touched by the passionate scene before him, laughing as he exclaimed, "The fans are so enthusiastic, I’m starting to sweat!" Moon Ga Young, responding sweetly, shared that it was her first time in Malaysia and she was "completely surrounded by enthusiasm," adding, "I'm really happy and excited!"

"Seocho-dong" (Law And The City) held its finale on the evening of the 10th, with lead actors Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young appearing at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to attend the only fan meeting and finale screening event in Southeast Asia. The event attracted over a thousand fans who flocked to catch a glimpse of their idols. Although the event only started at 7:30pm, many fans had arrived much earlier to stake out the best spots for a prime view. Near showtime, the main entrance of the mall was already packed, with crowds spilling over to nearby hotel entrances and both sides of the street. Even across the street in front of shopping mall windows and upstairs balconies, every spot was filled—the atmosphere was electrifying!

The two appeared one after another at around 7:45pm, and the moment they stepped onto the red carpet, the entire venue exploded in screams, almost deafening. Throughout the event, Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young showed nothing but maximum approachability. They gladly signed every autograph, took selfies, made heart gestures, and interacted with fans as they walked. Waves of screams washed over again and again.

Seeing such passionate fans, the pair took to the stage, smiling and saying, "Thank you for welcoming us with such passion!" Lee Jong Suk could not help but laugh and say, "Malaysian fans are so enthusiastically, I'm starting to sweat." He also shared it was his first visit to Malaysia, adding, "Your enthusiasm makes me want to give back even more to everyone." Moon Ga Young thanked fans in English and said, "Your waiting and support makes me really want to come back again." Lee Jong Suk immediately playfully asked, "So when are you coming back?" Before leaving, the two shouted to their fans again: "We hope to see everyone again soon!" They then moved on to the theater for the "Seocho-dong" finale screening, once again surrounded by fans taking photos along the way. In just fifteen short minutes, the red carpet fan meeting came to a close amidst a sea of screams.
