(Singapore 16th) The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) will continue to improve the 'Malaysia My Second Home' (MM2H) programme to enhance transparency, simplify the process and increase policy flexibility in response to global environmental changes, stated Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
He noted that the improved MM2H programme is shaping to be one of the world's leading long-term residency platforms, offering platinum, gold, and silver tiers to meet various needs, including those of high-income individuals, families, retirees, and digital nomads.
'This is not merely a visa programme, but a comprehensive lifestyle proposal covering high-quality living standards, internationally recognized healthcare, quality education, security assurance, and seamless ASEAN connectivity,' Tiong King Sing stated in his Facebook post on Thursday.
During his visit to Singapore, Tiong King Sing launched the 'Maybank Premier MM2H – Your Gateway to Malaysia' promotional event, organized in collaboration with Maybank Singapore Branch.
At the event, he encouraged Singapore citizens not only to travel to Malaysia but also to consider it as a strategic next base for residence.
He emphasized that Malaysia offers several advantages, including reasonable living costs, high-quality infrastructure, and the convenience of accessing wider regional markets without sacrificing quality of life.
