The Kuwait Oil Company stated that a super large Kuwaiti oil tanker was attacked by an Iranian drone in the early morning at the anchorage of Dubai Port in the UAE.
The company indicated that the attack caused damage to the hull of the tanker "Salmi" and a fire broke out onboard, with the possibility of an oil leak incident.
On the 31st, the Dubai Media Office posted on social media that the relevant Dubai authorities have responded to the "drone incident affecting a Kuwaiti oil tanker". Currently, there are no reports of casualties and all 24 crew members onboard are safe. Firefighters have extinguished the blaze.
