Singapore's Toto jackpot draw on Thursday night (19th) saw a single winner taking home more than $12.32 million SGD (approximately 40.8 million MYR). This is believed to be the highest-ever solo jackpot win in Toto's history.
According to a report by United Daily News and the Singapore Pools official website, the winning numbers for the Toto draw were 1, 10, 37, 40, 45, 47, with the additional number being 19.
Under the revised Toto rules, if there are no winners for three consecutive draws, the accumulated prize money will be distributed in the fourth draw following a cascade procedure. In other words, the top prize can only accumulate for up to four draws.
With no winners in the three previous draws, the estimated jackpot for the top prize typically surpasses $10 million. This time, thanks to widespread enthusiasm from Toto fans island-wide, the top prize pool for this draw accumulated to $12,323,051 SGD, with a single lucky winner taking it all.
This lucky individual placed a System 7 QuickPick bet at the FairPrice outlet in Yew Tee.
As for the second prize tier, 13 entries each won $108,637 SGD.
According to past reports, this marks the fifth time this year that a jackpot of over $10 million SGD has been awarded.
