The late Shaw Brothers martial arts superstar "One-Armed Swordsman" Wang Yu passed away three years ago due to illness at the age of 80. During his lifetime, Wang Yu purchased a double-storey detached house mansion in Taipei's Xindian District at the "Greater Taipei Mandarin Town" for 100 million Taiwan dollars (approximately 14.18 million RM) and further spent 300 million Taiwan dollars (approximately 42.88 million RM) to transform the house into a European-style "castle," with even the restroom toilets being dazzlingly luxurious. However, the mansion has now been taken over by monkeys, turning into a monkey paradise akin to the mythical Mountain of Flowers and Fruits.
According to Taiwanese media reports, former anchor Liu Xin-Tong shared on social media, stating that although the Wang Yu residence has changed hands, it is still occupied. Wang Yu's former residence is near a mountainous area, and when Liu Xin-Tong was filming the mansion, she noticed at least four monkeys lingering outside, appearing very leisurely. She quipped, "After being uninhabited, it has been taken over by a group of monkeys, becoming the new owners." Neighbors have confirmed that the mansion is still occupied.
