Unity and Progress Shown in Each Branch's Charity Work - Annie Ho: Bringing Support to Those in Need

(Miri, 23rd) International Lions Club District 308A2 District Governor Annie Ho pointed out at the opening ceremony of the "Lions Love Charity Bazaar with Infinite Love" fundraising event that the success of the event is inseparable from the hard work of every staff member. Whether it was planning, organizing, or implementing, every detail was meticulously arranged, showcasing everyone’s selfless dedication and team spirit.

 

She emphasized that the funds raised through this bazaar will be used to purchase a dialysis machine, and will also support other charitable projects. This dialysis machine is not just a piece of equipment but a symbol of saving lives and bringing hope to those in need.

 

She stated: "This warmth and care will allow more people to feel the concern and strength of society."

 

She called on everyone to continue working together, spreading more love and hope, jointly contributing to building a better tomorrow. The successful completion of this event fully demonstrated the unity and progress of the members in charitable work, providing real support to more people in need.

 

Previously, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee and President of Marudi Mandarin Lions Club, Kapitan Alvin Chua, pointed out that (Miri, 23rd) the Lions Club "Infinite Care" charity bazaar was successfully held and successfully raised funds to donate a dialysis machine to the Miri Dialysis Center, bringing hope and the light of life to dialysis patients.

 

Chairman Kapitan Alvin Chua stated at the ceremony that the dialysis machine purchased today is not just a piece of medical equipment, but the result of everyone’s united effort, symbolizing society's care and support for patients.

 

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the organizing committee members for their efforts and dedication and emphasized that it was everyone’s persistence and meticulous planning that enabled the success of this event.

 

“Every contribution, every detail of preparation, reflects team spirit and relentless effort. Without everyone’s joint efforts, today’s achievements would not have been possible.” he said.

 

He especially thanked the Lions Club 308A2 District Director who came from afar, as well as Dato Seri Lee Kim Shin, Datuk Sebastian Ting, Mayor Adam Yii, and MP Chiew Choon Man for their support, while also expressing thanks to all the generous sponsors.

The Lions Love Charity Bazaar with Infinite Love is jointly organized by four Lions Clubs in Miri, namely the Miri Lions Club, Miri Central Lions Club, Marudi Mandarin Lions Club, and Miri Lutong Lions Club.
