Two powerhouse vocalists brought together by Midlife, Sing & Shine 3—Malaysian singer Junjie Lee and Hong Kong singer Chun Yin Luk—have officially formed a dual-lead male vocal group, joining forces to make waves in the music scene. Although the pair first met in 2020, the show’s stage became a pivotal opportunity for their musical collaboration and marked a new phase in this cross-regional friendship.
In August 2025, the two conceived the idea of launching new music, inviting up-and-coming Malaysian musician Luo Zhenhong as producer. After numerous discussions and refinements, they completed a brand-new single, ‘Chronicles’. The song fuses the textured maturity and subtle emotion of male vocals, showcasing the duo’s complementary timbres and laying a distinct sonic foundation for their group’s identity.
‘Chronicles’ centers on the deep bond of male friendship, evoking pure and genuine camaraderie through recollections of youthful recklessness—a tacit understanding where a single phone call brings you together, and steadfast companionship undiminished by the passage of time. The music video specially visits several nostalgically atmospheric Hong Kong locations, including classic CD shops, traditional convenience stores, and the City University of Hong Kong, delicately presenting the city’s vintage charm and human warmth while reviving a rich sense of nostalgia.
Moreover, ‘Chronicles’ is not just a standalone single but the beginning of a comprehensive musical plan. Their company has scheduled the release of the duo’s debut mini album in 2026, with concept planning and the direction of upcoming works already taking shape. At that time, they will present even more mature and diverse music to fans, generating much anticipation.
