Kim Jong Un Observes Comprehensive Training of Various Armed Forces Urging the Completion of Modern War Preparations

According to a report by the Korean Central News Agency on the 14th, Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, observed the comprehensive tactical training of special forces, a tank unit confrontation competition, and a combat fire coordination demonstration exercise held at the 60th Training Institute of the Korean People's Army Capital Defense Corps on the 13th.

Kim Jong Un pointed out that establishing a scientific combat training system within the Korean armed forces will actively promote substantial changes in the training department as well as the enhancement and development of combat power across various levels.

He emphasized that modern warfare is a contest of military talent and an intellectual battle among commanders, and proposed organizing battle training based on the principles of enhancing the initiative, autonomy, and creativity of commanders.

Kim Jong Un also called for the comprehensive improvement of military training equipment and facilities, so that all levels of the armed forces are prepared for modern warfare. He highlighted the adoption of an information-based system and scientific evaluation system in training, establishing a new training regime in line with the developmental trends of the new century.
