During U.S. President Trump's visit to China, he will tour the Temple of Heaven, used by emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for worship, together with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday afternoon.
The Temple of Heaven Park Administration in Beijing issued a notice on Tuesday stating that the park will be closed from May 13th to 14th, and visitors who have already purchased tickets may obtain refunds through their original purchase channels.
The park administration also announced on Monday that, due to ancient building maintenance, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Circular Mound Altar, and Echo Wall attractions in the park would be closed on May 12th.
According to the White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Kelly, Trump will arrive in Beijing on Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning, he will attend the welcome ceremony, after which the Chinese and U.S. presidents will hold bilateral talks. In the afternoon, Trump will visit the Temple of Heaven Park with Xi Jinping and attend a state banquet in the evening. On Friday, the leaders of China and the U.S. will have a bilateral tea meeting and working lunch before Trump returns to Washington.
