(Bandar Seri Begawan, 24th) The Chinese sponsors group of Brunei's celebration events held a fellowship dinner and exchange meeting for Chinese businessmen and friends of different ethnicities last night at the Katong Litel Inn International Hotel restaurant to jointly celebrate the advent of Ramadan.
The main aim of hosting this iftar fellowship dinner is to promote the friendship between Chinese and Malay communities. More than 75 people attended, with Chinese and Malay attendees and their families gathering for dinner in a lively and harmonious atmosphere.
Invited guests included the Chinese Ambassador to Brunei, Xiao Jianguo, Malay businessman Pangiran Maso and his spouse, former cabinet ministers, several former district chiefs of Kampong Ayer, and former government officials.
Chinese businessmen Datuk Seri Lin Changzhen, Datuk Seri Shen Weixiang, Datuk Li Yuan and his spouse, Dr. Zeng Ruiji and his spouse, Lin Boming and his spouse, Cheng Yongnian, Fang Yanhe, Huang Zhiping, Gu Ganglai, and Huang Guanzhi were among those who attended the fellowship dinner.
