China’s new generation rapper Lan Lao SKAI ISYOURGOD will bring his “River Boat to the Sea” 2026 world tour to Kuala Lumpur for a concert on August 22. This will also be his first solo performance in Malaysia.
Lan Lao quickly rose to fame across Asia with hits such as “Fortune from All Directions” and “Magnificent Ambitions”. Known for his fusion style, his music blends Memphis rap from the southern US with cultural elements from various regions, creating a distinct personal sound. Among his works, “Fortune from All Directions” uses the ‘getting rich dream’ as its main theme and incorporates Cantonese folk beliefs, feng shui, and worship of the God of Wealth to portray the state of ordinary people navigating reality and dreams. It has become one of the most widely shared songs on short video platforms in the past two years. Meanwhile, “Magnificent Ambitions” became a global hit due to its catchy melody and irresistible dance, sparking a trend of imitations with many netizens mimicking the “Magnificent Ambitions Dance”. Many singers and entertainers have also covered or imitated it in their performances.
“Lan Lao - River Boat to the Sea 2026 World Tour Kuala Lumpur Stop” will be held at 8pm on August 22 (Saturday) at Zepp Kuala Lumpur. Ticket prices are VIP Box package RM5888 (limited to 8 boxes), VIP RM428, and CAT1 RM198. All prices exclude handling fees. Tickets go on sale at 12pm, June 24 (Wednesday).
Fans purchasing tickets can enjoy different levels of exclusive benefits. VIP Box ticket holders will receive a VIP lanyard, a group photo opportunity for four people, a signed poster, and a calligraphy scroll personally signed by Lan Lao.
