(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) During the holy month of Ramadan, the teachers and students of Sultan Foundation High School have taken concrete actions to practice the spirit of caring for society. Led by their teachers, the students were divided into several teams and ventured into communities to deliver supplies to impoverished families and disadvantaged groups, spreading warmth and care.
This initiative received enthusiastic response and strong support from teachers, students, and parents. Everyone actively donated essential goods, including food and other daily necessities, to ensure that the distributed resources could meet the basic needs of the recipient families. The students not only participated in packaging and distributing the supplies but also personally experienced the meaning of helping others, further enhancing their sense of social responsibility and empathy.
The teachers at Sultan Foundation High School expressed during the event: “Ramadan is not only a time for Muslims to reflect and cultivate themselves but also an important opportunity to give back to society and care for others. Through this event, the students not only learned how to care for others but also profoundly experienced the power of solidarity and cooperation.”
The participating students also shared their feelings. A student stated: “This experience made me realize that there are still many people in society who need help. Although our strength is limited, as long as we work together, we can inject a warm current into society.”
This charitable event during Ramadan not only brought some aid to impoverished families but also provided the teachers and students of Sultan Foundation High School with invaluable spiritual wealth through practice. Through such activities, the school hopes to cultivate students' awareness of public welfare and encourage them to continue contributing to society in the future.
The good deeds of Sultan Foundation High School have received high praise from the community, and many recipient families expressed sincere gratitude for the teachers' and students' selfless dedication. The school stated that it will continue to organize similar activities in the future to further promote students' participation in social welfare projects and contribute to building a more harmonious society.
