(Bandar Seri Begawan, 21st) The Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Student Representative Council (PMUBD) Sports Carnival concluded on May 20, 2026, marking the successful end of this student-led event that began on December 16, 2025.
Students from various UBD campuses participated in this sports event,
which included a variety of sports such as football, netball, and e-sports.
Throughout the event, students cultivated friendships, team spirit, and a sense of active participation.
The aim of this event was to establish a long-term platform to increase student engagement outside classrooms,
with a focus on nurturing leadership, resilience, cooperation skills, and sportsmanship among participants.
During the entirety of the games, students were encouraged to build meaningful interpersonal relationships while developing values essential for personal and professional growth.
The closing ceremony was held at the Art Centre and was graced by the special guest, UBD Vice-Chancellor Hazri. The event brought together students, athletes, performers, and members of the university community to collectively celebrate the enthusiasm and active participation shown during the carnival.
