April 14 marked the 73rd birthday of Eric Tsang. Since stepping down from his position as General Manager of TVB, he has been enjoying a carefree life “unburdened by official duties.” Recently, he joined the Hong Kong Celebrity Football Team in Huizhou, China, for a charity match. However, during the game, Eric Tsang experienced a “rare accident” that not only startled “Third Brother” Michael Miu and Alan Tam, but also forced him to leave the field after just 1 minute!
Once a professional player wearing the number 8 jersey, Eric Tsang showed great enthusiasm on the pitch. Though not as agile as he was in his younger years, he still displayed skill and put in a lot of effort running and moving around. But an amusing and embarrassing moment occurred when, during an attacking play, Eric Tsang suddenly lost his balance and fell heavily onto the grass. Everyone was startled, but fortunately he was unharmed and was able to stand up on his own. It turned out the sole of his football shoe—having not been used for a long time—came off, causing him to slip and forcing him to leave the field.
Alan Tam, who witnessed the whole thing, was initially startled when Eric Tsang fell. Upon learning it was merely due to the shoe sole coming off, he couldn't help but loudly tease him, showing their close friendship. Michael Miu, seeing Eric Tsang leave the field suddenly, was also concerned about whether he was injured. Later, Eric Tsang indicated it was just the sole coming off, making for an awkward yet amusing scene.
