Dudan Clinic Appreciation Dinner: Lee Kim Shin Promises to Enhance Medical Services

(Miri, 23rd) Sarawak Minister of Transport and Senadin Assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin attended the 2024 Dudan Health Clinic Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony held on the 18th floor of Meritz Hotel in Miri last night. He expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of Dudan Health Clinic since its establishment and promised to continuously improve the clinic's facilities and services to meet the growing medical needs of the locality.

In his speech, Lee Kim Shin stated that Dudan has developed from a former swamp to a well-equipped satellite town today, featuring residential areas, schools, colleges, and a clinic. This transformation demonstrates the potential for regional development and reflects the results of collaboration between the government and the community.

He particularly recalled the establishment journey of Dudan Health Clinic. Since its foundation in 2005, the clinic has been serving the local area for nearly 20 years, starting from a 5-acre piece of land and gradually developing into a medical service center covering Dudan and surrounding regions, providing quality medical support to local residents.

Lee Kim Shin pointed out that the constituency from Senadin to the Marudi border covers a vast area, and with population growth, the demand for medical services is also increasing.

"Although Dudan Health Clinic is young, it has demonstrated exemplary service quality. In the future, we will continue our efforts to secure more resources and provide better-quality medical services to the community."

During the dinner, members of the clinic's advisory committee and all staff were commended, and various performances were arranged, bringing joy and pleasure to the guests. Lee Kim Shin urged all members to persistently work hard in their respective roles, to unite and cooperate, and to contribute to community development.

Lee Kim Shin expressed gratitude to the event organizers, the Dudan Clinic Advisory Committee and Staff Recreation Club, for their hard work. He hoped that this dinner would further enhance team cohesion and lay a stronger foundation for the clinic's future development.
