Teng Yun Temple Celebrates the Holy Birthday of Namo Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva

(Seremban, 21st) Teng Yun Temple celebrated the holy birthday of Namo Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva this morning on the thirtieth day of the seventh lunar month. The event included chanting of the Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva's hymns and the respectful invitation of Master Daoji. During the ceremony, rituals were held to "respectfully send off Face-Burning Bodhisattva, Mountain Gods, Land Gods, Yin-Yang Division Officials, and the Five Ghost Generals to return to their original positions," as well as the launching of water lanterns. The event saw enthusiastic participation from board members, advisors, and numerous devotees.
