(Sri Aman 13th) The Sri Aman Development Agency (SADA) plays an important role in ensuring the efficient implementation of planned projects.
Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Coordination of Area Development Agencies, Kuching North City Hall and Islamic Affairs) Dato' Abdul Rahman Junaidi stated that this responsibility aims to ensure that each project is completed as planned and benefits the local community.
“All Regional Development Agencies (RDA) must work closely with executing and monitoring agencies to ensure that planned projects are completed on time,” he said during a visit and briefing at the SADA office yesterday.
Abdul Rahman is also the assemblyman for Pantai Damai. He pointed out that the establishment of a Regional Development Agency Special Committee serves as a catalyst for enhancing service efficiency and effectiveness.
“This is in line with the government’s vision to balance urban and rural development,” he added.
Meanwhile, he emphasized that all contractors who have received a Letter of Appointment (LOA) must commence on-site work within 30 days.
“The Sarawak government is committed to ensuring that regional development is efficiently implemented and has a far-reaching impact,” he further explained.
Additionally, SADA, as the main driving force of strategic development in the Sri Aman area, covers regions including Sri Aman, Pantu, Lingga, and Lubok Antu.
