U.S. President Trump stated on the 16th that the U.S. military action against Iran will not end this week.
While answering related questions from the media at the White House, he said that the end of this military action will not come so quickly, but it definitely won’t take too long; before long, the war will be over.
He also pointed out that an announcement will be made soon about which countries have agreed to provide escort for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Previously, Trump complained that America’s European allies were unwilling to help with the escort operations.

A spokesperson for U.S. Central Command stated on the 16th that, since the latest round of U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran, more than 200 U.S. soldiers have been injured in 7 Middle Eastern countries.
Central Command spokesperson Hawkins pointed out that U.S. soldiers have been injured in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, with most of the injuries occurring during the initial phase of the conflict.
He said that some of the injuries were only reported in recent days, and the main symptoms are traumatic brain injuries. In addition, the number of U.S. soldiers seriously injured has increased to ten.
