Indonesian Man Dies in Traffic Accident, Three Others Injured

(Bintulu, 13th) An Indonesian man was killed and three others were injured in an accident involving a trailer lorry and a four-wheel drive vehicle, which occurred yesterday afternoon in front of the Samalaju Shell petrol station on the Bintulu–Miri coastal highway.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) spokesperson said they received the report at 5:33pm and immediately dispatched six team members from the Kidurong Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Kidurong), led by PBK I Abdulasetdi, to the scene for rescue operations.

"Upon arrival at the scene, the rescue team found that the accident involved a long trailer lorry and a four-wheel drive vehicle, with two victims trapped inside the car."
He said the firefighters quickly used professional rescue tools and successfully freed the two trapped victims.
The two trapped Indonesian men were identified as Kelimen Jundie and Ahmad Sucipto. Ahmad Sucipto was pronounced dead at the scene, and his remains have been handed over to the police for further action.

"The 44-year-old local trailer lorry driver suffered a left leg injury, while his Indonesian assistant sustained only minor injuries."
All the injured received initial treatment from medical personnel at the scene, before being sent to a nearby hospital for further care."
This joint rescue operation involving the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and ambulance services was successfully concluded at 7:16pm.
