South Korea May Follow Ukrainian Troops in Crossing Borders, Kim Jong Un Claims Justified Reason for Sending Troops to Aid Russia

The Korean Central News Agency reported on the 9th that Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, visited the Russian embassy in North Korea to send congratulatory remarks for the 80th anniversary of Russia's Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Kim Jong Un, accompanied by his daughter Kim Ju Ae, visited the Russian embassy to express congratulations and present a flower basket.

During his address, he mentioned North Korea's justified reasoning for sending troops to assist Russia against Ukraine, exercising North Korea's sovereignty and aligning with the "Russia-North Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement," to liberate the Russian Kursk region invaded by Ukrainian forces.

Kim Jong Un pointed out that if the situation of Ukraine crossing into Russia is ignored and assistance is refused, Ukrainian forces will become more aggressive, and South Korea might follow suit. Therefore, it is necessary to responsibly fulfill duties to correct such erroneous and dangerous phenomena.

Additionally, a North Korean military delegation attended the Victory Day parade in Moscow's Red Square with Russian President Putin extending his greetings to them.

The North Korean delegation was composed of five members, including Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army Kim Young Bok, Director of the Reconnaissance General Bureau Lee Chang Ho, and Operations Bureau Director Shin Jin Chol. During the review phase, Putin shook hands and warmly embraced Kim Young Bok and shook hands with other members of the delegation one by one.
